 We spent time with the team at Identity Alarms to help them understand the work that we were about to undertake for them and to interpret the strongest keywords within their industry. It didn’t take long to realise which key phrases would be the best to use and once they had been finalised, work could begin on the site.

After analysing the Identity Alarm website we were quite clear about which areas of the site required our attention. The first task was to improve the meta strings by incorporating some of the chosen key phrases that were relevant to the information on the page into the title, description and keyword list for each and every page on the site. Whenever this is done it is extremely important to avoid any repetition throughout these pages. We also checked the content within the pages of the website to ensure there was no repetition here either as this can be very detrimental to the optimisation process. The next stage was to strengthen the internal linking throughout the Identity Alarm site. The main technique that we adopt to do this is via anchor text linking although we did also create links from banners and images as well. These techniques laid the foundation s for a well optimised site and made it as easy as possible for the search engine spiders to navigate the site. As a result the site was cached very quickly and each of the key phrases started to escalate into their require positions.  

It was then a case of keeping an eye on each key phrase to ensure they were heading in the right direction on the search engines.
